A Day of Touring

Last night we had a wonderful night at the local youth group. We got to play several games with the teens. We had a song time and a challenge. For the most part, the teens were very friendly and receptive. I think we could have been a little overwhelming... there were 14 of us to the 9 of them.
Today we decided to go into the station an hour early and get a lot accomplished before it got too hot for the outside crew. They are still working on rebuilding the fence and are hoping to complete that on Monday. The inside crew accomplished a lot as well. The normal workers at the Radio Lighthouse were not there so each person had a computer to work on. We continued to work on transferring cassettes and records to the computer and then editing them.
After lunch, the Kirklands took us touring around the island. It was a great day! We learned so much about the island and had a good time together as a team. We went to English Harbour which was absolutely beautiful. We wandered around the old British Naval Yard which was under the control of Lord Nelson. We then got to go up to 3 overlooks. Our day was finished with a dinner out and ice cream. While we ate our ice cream, we wandered around the docks downtown where the cruise ships come in.
Tomorrow we will be in 2 different churches - one in the morning and one in the evening. Several guys will be preaching and there will be several special numbers. Please pray that everyone will be relaxed and not nervous, and that the Lord will use our team to be an encouragement to the local believers.
