We Made It!

Today was the big day that we have all been waiting for and preparing for for months. We all met on Bob Jones campus at 2:30 am and packed up a 15 passenger van with trailor. We made it to Atlanta around 5:30 am. We were so thankful that all of our bags were under the weight limit! All of our planes were on time and the day went so smoothly. We were all a little nervous about going through immigration and customs. The Waites told us it could take a couple of hours. Our plane got in about 20 minutes early and we were through immigration and customs in less than a half hour! We are so thankful for an easy day of travelling. It took 3 cars and a big van to get all of us and all of our bags from the airport.

It is very warm and humid here. Since we arrived a little early, we had a chance to go down to the beach for a quick dip before dinner. Mrs. Waite made us a delicious dinner which included a fresh fruit salad from the island. We are getting settled in tonight and are looking forward to start working tomorrow morning. We are so thankful for all of your prayers. We could definitely tell that people were praying for us today.

Here are a few pictures from our adventures so far!

  1. I remember thinking that was a fancy restaurant when Keli sent pics on the last trip. Beautiful! So glad you all arrived safely.
